Rocking the World of Musical Movies!





We are pleased to announce that our lead singer, Emiel, has been hard at work composing 16 original songs for a rock musical movie. The movie, which is currently in development, is called "Hansel & Gretel ROCKS". The film is a special FX filled action adventure in the style of "Harry Potter".



In May Emiel attended the Cannes Film Festival, where the movie was presented at the Cannes Producers Network. "Hansel & Gretel ROCKS" has been chosen as as one of only 20 projects to be presented at the Eurasia Film Financing Market in Russia. Emiel is currently in Russia, representing the film. FIRE IN YOUR EYES NOW RELEASED

Fire In Your Eyes, the third single off Yellow Pearl's Debut Album "The Rebel In You," goes on sale, Tuesday, July 10th. The strings arrangement on the song was recorded by the Barrandov Orchestra in the city of Prague. This orchestral ensemble performed the Academy Award-Winning Score of the motion picture, Dances With Wolves.

What a weekend! From a litte, accoustic set in the SamSam on friday to a huge stage in the P3, where we could perform our show before the of Mothers Finest! What a great guys!

Our own Emiel will become a radio-diskjockey! On the first day of the easterweekend, Emiel will present his own radioshow on the dutch radiostation 100%NL. From 15.00 untill 19.00 Emiel will be talking about the coming festival-season in Holland. You can listen live online at 100p.nl



That isn't enough? Coming friday Yellow Pearl will be at the Friday Freaknight. The 10th of April Yellow Pearl is a guest at the show MoveYourAss!

These last weeks were going unbelievable fast with our tour. Time for some looking back on on our homebase -this website-. We left some cool photo's and video's on the website. Last weekend, we played at The Livingroom, Zwolle. Vincent Nijhof, our photographer, took thesepictures. After Zwolle we spend the night at our favorite DJ's from 3FM; Giel Beelen and Gerard Ekdom!
